So much to say....

I totally forgot that I started this blog! Let's see, what has happened since late July? After presenting all the hard facts and numbers to my husband, he has agreed to me having a homebirth! I can honestly say that I was leery that I would ever be able to get him to see that it was a safe option. Good thing we serve an amazing God, because without Him there would have been no way. So, I have found a midwife who will be making home prenatal visits and my husband likes her. She emailed me with my blood work results and I was just so excited about that. I have never had an OB give me my results. Their policy has always been, "we will inform you of any problems". I feel so enlightened to be so informed. I can tell this is the beginning of a great new friendship blossoming.

Jaylem is playing football. Last week he couldn't practice for most of the week, because after trying to break a tackle he pivoted while another player had his feet and hurt himself. The pedi diagnosed it as Achiles Tendonitis. Poor thing was in so much pain. He literally crawled to our room to tell us about the pain. He could not even walk! Then the coach told me to soak his feet in ice water. Let me tell you, that is not a job for a mom to do. He was in the worst pain ever. I called my husband at work bawling. Praise report,my little big guy is perfectly fine now! He has practiced hard all week with no problems at all.

Last thing, on Tuesday 8/21 I will officially be working from home. I think I am motivated by the paycheck. I pray to God that we are good stewards of the extra money that will be coming in.

The Lord has truly been blessing us.

"Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples." Psalm 105
