I was sitting in the van today and noticed this in the tree. Wondering why I was sitting in the van? Well... I needed to get away. For some reason today the kids are driving me insane. The funny thing is that they are not being bad, unruly, or obnoxious. I am just annoyed. I am sure it's because this house is getting on my last nerve. The landlord is at the top of my "please don't mess with me" list. There is water all over my closet and on the carpet in the bedroom. We have to turn the water off outside so that the room doesn't get flooded. He has known about this busted pipe for over three weeks now, and we have not heard from him. Ugh! But this post wasn't suppose to be the platform for my pity party. Check out God and all His amazingness! That bird is beautiful. My picture does not do it justice.
It took me forever to take that picture of the woodpecker. Then I got back into the van, and heard a noise. I looked behind me and I saw this little bird in the cupholder. I freaked out! I ran in the house and told Jaylem to come outside and get the bird out of the van. This made ALL the kids come out. It took another 30 minutes for Jaylem to get this picture. That little birdie kept eluding us! It was hilarious. Finally, after we got the picture, it darted out of the window as I was reaching in. Of course the kids fell over the ground laughing at me, because I definitely screamed and almost fell over a tree root. God brought some beauty and laughter in an otherwise crummy day.
"Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them." Psalm 126:2
